Wolston Creek (Ric Nattrass Creek) in Darra will soon undergo a waterway rehabilitation project to improve the habitat for platypus. This project will involve removing weeds, revegetating the riparian area, and increasing trees in the lower bank. By creating a more suitable environment with improved food sources and shelter, this project contributes to the long-term sustainability of our local platypus population. We continue to invest in wildlife conservation projects to preserve the unique flora and fauna of our city.
